“Their passion was the reason we built the house.”
—Mary Leurquin
Surrounded by water and wildlife, Lloyd and Mary Leurquin found the perfect plot of land for their retirement home on Sinissippi Lake in Juneau, Wisconsin. With their minds set on an open concept, they worked with Loos Custom Homes to develop plans for a home that would fit all of their needs and wants.
With a few minor tweaks to the plans – such as, removing a wall between the kitchen to the living room, adding a dining area, and constructing a beautiful deck overlooking the lake, they had the perfect home for simply relaxing and enjoying the view or for entertaining their family and friends.
“Loos is very open to any changes and suggestions.”
—Lloyd Leurquin
“Communications were excellent. Questions were asked and answered using phone calls, texts, and e-mails. Each was answered in 24 hours or less.”
—Jan Lumpp
The Lumpp home is tucked away in Cambridge, Wisconsin, with a perfect view of the lake. The Lumpps had a specific idea of what they wanted in their home and had architects draw up their dreams. From those plans, Loos built a completely custom home that met all criteria. Energy efficient—check. Single-level living where necessary—check. A place for the kids and grandkids to stay—check. Open concept with lots of light—double check.
Any problems the Lumpps ran across during construction were met with solutions that exceeded their expectations. The Lumpps were in their new home within 5 1/2 months and have never been happier.
“It was completed in less time than we had expected and within the range of what Loos had quoted.”
—Jan Lumpp
“Very good communication before, during, and after.”
—Casey Dobson
Casey and Gary Dobson had visited a few model homes in the Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, area, but as soon as they went through a Loos model, they knew what they wanted. They had a contractor friend review the spec sheet for the home they had chosen, and after he told them how impressed he was with the quality of the materials listed, they were sold.
They built their home in the winter of 2013, which was one of the coldest, snowiest winters in recent memory. This didn’t stop construction, though; the builders kept going, working through snowstorms, and finished on time. After a few minor changes to the original plan, the Dobsons couldn’t be happier with their home.
“Greg went above and beyond. They really want to build for families—it’s not just something they say; it’s something they really do.”
—Gary Dobson
“Their staff are wonderful to deal with and made the process easy. I never thought building a custom home would be so easy and affordable.”
—Kimberley Uitz
With two small kids, Kim and Andrew Uitz have their hands full. Surprisingly, building a home was not as stressful as they thought it would be. During the entire process, from initial fears of building to moving day, Loos Homes eased their minds and made it easy. Loos answered every question and accommodated every change until there was nothing left for the Uitzes to do except move in.
“After comparing an existing home to a custom-built home for price and quality, there was no question we’d move forward with Loos Homes.”
—Kimberley Uitz
“I travel a lot for work, so I wasn’t around much when they were building, but the communication by phone and e-mail was excellent and made everything really easy.”
— Joseph Schick
Joseph Schick moved from a condo in Sussex, Wisconsin to his beautiful new home in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, and he couldn’t be happier. After a somewhat rocky home-building experience in New York years ago, he wasn’t sure if building new was the right choice. But after his brother introduced him to Loos, he never looked back.
Joe knew exactly what he wanted in his new house, and Loos was able to walk him through the process, suggesting solutions until the plans met up with his ideas. When moving day came, Joe walked into a new house that immediately felt like home, complete with a custom lower level that makes entertaining a breeze.
“I would without a doubt recommend Loos Homes to family and friends.”
— Joseph Schick
